MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Joseph Leon, D.M.D.
Dr. Leon is a transplanted Clevelander who grew up in Lexington, Kentucky. Following his undergraduate education at Xavier University, he completed his dental training at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, and moved to Cleveland to begin his dental practice career. Dr. Leon has grown into a Cleveland sports fan and thinks northeast Ohio has some of the best golf courses around. Besides golf, Dr. Leon enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and keeping up with the Xavier and Kentucky basketball teams.
As the practice has grown, Dr. Joseph Leon has taken time to develop trusting relationships with his patients, focusing on their overall oral health and the value of prevention and regular maintenance. Recognizing that individual situations require different options, Dr. Leon works with the patient to develop comprehensive dental care treatment goals, and can provide a full range of services in the office from cleanings and simple fillings to complex reconstructive cases, dental implants, root canals, and extractions.
Dr. Leon is a certified Invisalign provider which allows for tooth movement without using traditional braces. Dr. Leon is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Greater Cleveland Dental Society.
Dr. William Lavigna D.D.S.
Dr. Lavigna is a native Clevelander who attended Miami University prior to receiving his Dental Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. Before joining his father Daniel in practice, Dr. Lavigna completed an advanced training residency in General Dentistry at Saint Luke's Hospital in Cleveland. He then continued on at Saint Luke's as an Attending Teacher, and in 1984 became the Director of Dentistry at the Hospital.
In private practice since 1986, Dr. William Lavigna has developed a preventive practice focused on providing all restorative care to maintain optimal oral health for his patients. He emphasizes the individual needs of his patients' health, and provides care in all phases of restorative dentistry including implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, fixed and removable bridgework, root canal therapy and conservative periodontal care consistent with each patient's personal situation. He coordinates patient care with other dental specialists as indicated.
Dr. Lavigna serves as Director of Dentistry at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Saint Luke's Medical Center in Cleveland, and directs the advanced teaching program there. Dr. Lavigna is a member of the American Association of Hospital Dentists as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Cleveland Dental Society.
Dr. Katherine Myron, D.D.S.
Dr. Myron is from Columbus, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate work at Miami University in Oxford and then attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with her dental degree in 2019. After completing a General Practice Residency program at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Dr. Myron worked in private practice in Chicago for several years while her husband, Jake, completed his MBA program. Dr. Myron and her husband have a daughter, Abigail. Dr. Myron is an avid runner and enjoys many activities including long walks with Jake and Abigail through the neighborhood, pickle ball and golf. She also loves to be in the kitchen cooking and baking!
Dr. Myron strives to provide exceptional care to all of her patients. Dr. Myron is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their healthiest smiles focused on preventative care. Dr. Myron works with every patient individually to help them come up with a treatment plan that fit their specific needs. Dr. Myron is passionate about restorative dentistry: including but not limited to cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, invisalign, crown and bridge work and TMJ therapy.
Dr. Myron has completed many hours of continuing education courses at The Pankey Institute, a place that aligns with her core values and helped shape dental philosophy. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society.
